More Video Options on PageCloud

One of the most common requests received at PageCloud.com is for more video capabilities. Well, ask and you shall receive!


Here’s an update from the PageCloud team:

We’ve made a few updates to the video options within PageCloud. 

For starters, you can now drag and drop MP4 files directly from your desktop to your PageCloud site, much like you can with YouTube videos.

Once the video is on your site, you can select the new Video Panel within the right-side palette, giving you more options for video enhancement, such as: 

  • Selecting Autoplay so that the video plays as soon as the page opens
  • Creating a poster video, stretching your video to the width of the screen
  • Programming it to be a background video, filling the entire window of your site
  • You now have more creative freedom with your videos than ever before!

What happens when you cancel an Airbnb reservation?

The ultimate figure amount refunded is not always visible from AirBnB’s Cancellation Policy online

So first, I’ve give you an overview of AirBnB Cancellation policies from AirBnB directly and then show you my personal example of a refund I had to put through late last year.

AirBnB’s Cancellation Policies

Airbnb allows hosts to choose amongst three standardised cancellation policies (Flexible, Moderate, and Strict) that we will enforce to protect both guest and host alike. The Super Strict cancellation policies apply to special circumstances and are by invitation only. The Long Term cancellation policy applies to all reservations of 28 nights or more. Each listing and reservation on our site will clearly state the cancellation policy. Guests may cancel and review any penalties by viewing their travel plans and then clicking ‘Cancel’ on the appropriate reservation.

My personal AirBnB Cancellation experience

I canceled a recent AirBnB visit as a guest late last year. 

In my personal example, the listing’s cancellation policy was Flexible.

The instruction from AirBnB is that “If [I] cancel now, [I]’ll receive a full refund, minus the cost of your first night and the Airbnb service fees”.

I booked this place for two nights, on the Sep 7th- Sep 9th. My host refunded
